Willie Stark has always been fascinated by the fusion of different dance styles. It has led her to collaborate with many urban dance, modern, classical and contemporary dancers and artists.
Résilience is a short piece composed by 4 young women engaged in improvisational practices between several urban, classical and contemporary dance techniques. Together they portray the ambiguous boundaries between the different styles and denounce the social and economical place of young girls and women in society by moving as a unit in a strong state.
