Louves

In “Louves” post colonialism narratives and power structures deeply rooted in society are explored. Three dancers respond to social and political oppression through Urban and African dances, movements and music. The representation of BIPOC women is questioned in LOUVES and oppression is transformed into a powerful message full of love, understanding and joy.

The practice focuses on the body as both subject and object of the artwork. It is about sisterhood, togetherness, resistance, and perseverance.
